a new painting

I just finished this large painting - large for encaustic and my small studio. It is 32" x 40" I experimented with plaster, oil and encasutic. I am not sure I will do many more with plaster. It is so absorbent and textured it sucks up the oil and medium.

    Another wonderful piece! I love the colors and I really like the drawing with the black lines. I can't see the plaster and it doesn't sound like it was worth the effort.
